Fitel S179 Core Alignment Fusion Splicer and Cleaver

The Fitel S179 is a handheld core-alignment fusion splicer for single and multimode fibres. It includes an S326 cleaver. Typical 6 s splice time and 9 s heating time. Losses of 0.02 dB and 0.01 dB on single and multimode fibre respectively. Features include a 4.3" LCD touchscreen, 3+1 LED lights (illuminate the entire splicing chamber for improved visibility in low-light), and Intentional high attenuation splice function. Splice loss of 0.1 dB to 15 dB (0.1 dB step) can be made for an inline fixed attenuator.
